Envo AI Recording
I. Storage Space and Paid Expansion
1. How is storage space calculated?
Total storage space = Base storage + Meeting membership bonus + Paid expansion storage.
- Base storage: Long-term storage allocated to the account by the platform.
- Meeting membership bonus: Additional storage provided after subscribing to a meeting membership. The storage limit and validity period are subject to the subscription details.
- Paid expansion storage: Additional storage obtained by purchasing an expansion plan. The storage provided by multiple active plans is cumulative.
Go to Envo AI Recording > Cloud Storage to view the used and remaining storage, meeting membership bonus, paid expansion storage, and the nearest expiration date.
2. What happens when expanded storage expires?
- A reminder will be sent 7 days before a meeting membership bonus or paid expansion plan expires.
- After expiration, the corresponding additional storage will no longer be included in the total storage space.
- If the used storage exceeds the reduced limit, recordings that exceed the limit will enter a 30-day grace period.
- Files that have not been handled by the end of the grace period will be automatically deleted, and their associated transcripts cannot be recovered.
Deleting recordings frees up storage space. We recommend renewing your plan or clearing files before the expiration date.
II. Real-Time Meeting Transcription
1. How do I enable transcription?
When starting a recording with Envo AI Recording, select “Transcription” to generate a transcript and view it in real time. Transcription is enabled by default. The system remembers your selection and applies it to subsequent meetings.
2. How do I view a transcript?
A transcription icon appears after a transcript has been generated for a recording. Open the file to view the transcript in chronological order, including speaker names and timestamps.
Segments recorded without transcription enabled will not display transcripts. If no speech is recognized, a corresponding message will appear on the page.
3. Who can edit a transcript?
Only the meeting host can edit transcript text and speaker names. Click “Done” to save the changes.
Speaker names can contain up to 20 characters. You can choose to update only the current segment or replace the speaker's name throughout the meeting's full transcript.
4. How do I export the full transcript?
Select “Export Full Transcript” from the recording's More Actions menu. This option is displayed only when the recording permissions allow exporting.
5. Does deleting a recording affect its transcript?
Yes. When a recording is deleted, its associated transcript is also permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
